Research-driven design for complex enterprise workflows
Hi Ric and Team – looking forward to connecting. My first Swiss project was designing for EEX (European Energy Exchange), and I've spent the last 23+ years translating complex Flows into clarity. What kick-started my career designing for energy trading platforms, financial systems, and identity verification – always starting with research, building with systems thinking, measuring what matters, and co-creation.
Complex workflows need design that listens before it creates.
Selected Projects
Proven impact in complex systems
These projects show how I approach enterprise workflows: research first, systems thinking throughout, measurable outcomes always.

How I work
Research → Systems → Impact
I don't start with solutions. I start with understanding.
- User Research: Mobile lab testing, personas, journey mapping, usability tests (maze), A/B testing – 400+ user interviews across Switzerland (YOUMEnet project)
- Design Systems: Atomic Design, Figma tokens, component libraries – built scalable systems at PXL Vision (72% task time reduction) and LUKB (application-wide)
- Collaboration: International remote teams (Serbia, Estonia, Switzerland at PXL Vision), workshops that turn stakeholder assumptions into validated strategies (LUKB)
- Developer Handoff: ProtoPie with video/sensors for realistic testing, specifications that engineering teams can build from
I measure what matters – and iterate based on evidence.
What I bring
Experience in the workflows that matter for this project
You need someone who understands complex enterprise systems. Here's what I've built:
Energy/Trading Sector: EEX (European Energy Exchange) – my career-defining project. Fast-track design for energy trading platform, real-time trading interfaces designed for clarity through patterns and dynamics. Later: Eurex, CBOT, Deutsche Bank, SIX Swiss Exchange.
Banking/Finance UX: LUKB (Luzerner Kantonalbank) – application-wide design system, translated complex financial processes into understandable digital experiences through co-creation workshops.
Identity Verification: PXL Vision (ETH Spin-off) – 72% reduction in task time, 55% fewer drop-offs, 30-second onboarding for biometric identity. White-label themes for 7+ partners (SwissID, Mobility, SBB, …).
My goal for this project: Bring the same research-driven approach and systems thinking that delivered measurable outcomes in energy trading and banking to your complex enterprise workflows.
What you get
A designer who delivers measurable results
- Proven enterprise UX expertise – Energy trading (EEX), banking (LUKB), identity verification (PXL Vision), AI/LLM interfaces (current)
- Full UX toolkit – Personas, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, design system contributions, usability testing, iteration
- Remote collaboration that works – International teams across time zones, workshops that align stakeholders, specs that engineers trust
- Research-driven decisions – Every design choice backed by user research and validated through testing
What I value
Collaboration, curiosity, clarity
I thrive in environments where questions are encouraged and complexity is embraced.
At PXL Vision, I worked solo as UX Lead but collaborated closely with CPO and international dev teams across time zones – rapid iteration, continuous testing, measurable outcomes.
At LUKB, I facilitated co-creation sessions that were open, structured, and solution-oriented – turning abstract requirements into concrete UX strategies.
At 1)gravity, I built and led a design team from 0 to 8 designers, introducing the '4 Days Focus – 1 Day Experiment' work model for creativity and prototyping.
I love working with teams that value research, embrace iteration, and measure impact.
If you value the same …
Let's design systems that work
Design isn't decoration. It's the difference between workflows that frustrate and systems that empower.
I've spent over 23 years proving that research-driven design delivers measurable results – from a 72% reduction in task time to energy trading platforms that handle complexity with clarity.
For complex enterprise workflows, you need a designer who listens before creating, builds with systems thinking, and measures what matters.
Thanks for your time
Let's talk about how we can bring clarity to complex workflows together.
